Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. For those of you that will be bringing your children, please be sure to watch them closely. If they start to become fussy during the ceremony, we kindly ask you to walk away with them as this is a very special moment for us.
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. For example, if the invitation says your name and guest - then you may bring one. If it just says your name, only you are invited. Thank you for understanding and feel free to reach out to us with any questions!
Sean and I don't want anyone to feel overwhelmed with what to wear to our wedding! While we don't have a very specific dress code, we are asking that you avoid wearing jeans and sweatpants. Treat this as a night to dress up for yourself!
The weather in Ohio is similar to Pittsburgh - which means, who knows! Historically the weather in April is in the 60's. We recommend paying attention to the weather a few days before the wedding, that way you can plan accordingly. Let's start praying for clear and sunny skies!
Our ceremony and cocktail hour are outside. However, both of these spaces are beautifully covered.
Guests can start to arrive as early at 3:45pm. Please try to be in your seat promptly by 4:30. Our ceremony will begin right at 4:30. Unfortunately, if you’re not in your seat by 4:30 you will not be able to attend the ceremony and will have to wait in your car or in the parking lot. Please allow time for parking and finding a seat.
Yes! A shuttle will be provided to bring you to the venue from our hotel of choice, which is the Comfort Inn & Suites in Dover, Ohio. The shuttle will start it's service time at 3:00. The shuttle will also take you back to the hotel after the reception ends and will begin it's service time at 10:00pm.

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures - which we will share with all of you. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like!
Yes! The drinks are on us! Non alcoholic drinks are also available as well.
Absolutely! We hope you plan to come hungry! We will have a generous selection of hors d'oeuvres immediately after the ceremony. Then, there will be a delicious buffet dinner. After lots of dancing and celebrating, there will also be a late-night snack and of course cookies! If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know.
